Orgain for Kids
Orgain for Kids – is a nutritional shake for kids that integrates organic veggie & fruit ingredients, whey protein and complex carbohydrates from brown rice – a much smarter alternative to pediatric growth support than the sugar laden, casein protein based nutritional supplements available in most supermarkets and pharmacies.

Aquaphor
Aquaphor – This bland emollient locks in moisture and provides a barrier to skin assault. Mixed with a ceramide containing lotion, like CeraVe or Curel itch defense, it magnifies the effect these lotions have on dry, broken skin. Perfect for use in the diaper area, as well as on areas affected by atopic dermatitis.

Gerber Sooth Colic Drops
Gerber Sooth Colic Drops – previously known as BioGaia infant probiotics, this Lactobacillus Reuteri supplement given on a daily basis to newborns can significantly reduce colic-like symptoms and general abdominal discomfort.

Colic Calm
Colic Calm – this vegetable carbon containing homeopathic colic remedy works on an as needed basis to soothe abdominal discomfort in babies. Anecdotally, per my patient parents, this remedy is super effective.

Zymaderm
Zymaderm – have seen it work wonders on Molluscum contagiosum. It is certainly worth a shot before having a dermatologist “beetlejuice” individual lesions. Aldara (a prescription cream) can also be effective but is very expensive by comparison.

Parenting with Love & Logic
Parenting with Love & Logic – this book provides a nice synopsis of parenting strategies that encourage independent thought and self-confidence in our little ones, and help minimize our natural albeit counterproductive parenting behaviors such as nagging, yelling and threatening.

Happiest Baby on the Block
Happiest Baby on the Block – this book provides insight into parenting strategies for newborns – most notably calming strategies – the five S’s – swaddling, shushing, swinging, sucking and side lying. Helpful book for parents of newborns!
